This tee is to commemorate a special moment in history as Bad Bunny took the stage for Super Bowl LX. Early data already shows that this years half-time show is record breaking as the most viewed halftime show in history. After backlash, initially from 1 particular demographic upon the announcement of Bad Bunny being the halftime performer back in September, we knew we wanted to do a tee.
Some of the unintelligent rhetoric was referring to Puerto Rico as if it wasn’t apart of the United States. As if Bad Bunny wasn’t a U.S. Citizen. So we wanted that to be a focal point of the tee, while not only dressing it up with elements of the game taking place such as the game day details, football helmets, and Bad Bunny on the goal post. We also included details to represent the Puerto Rican people. As some of you know our very own, Wise Mind Jose, is Puerto Rican. Details include Taino symbols on the back, the PR flag from 1895 to signify their independence before the U.S. became involved, as well as the Coquí and Flor de Maga PR flower. All in all, this is a statement piece. An appreciation for the latin community and an embrace of the Puerto Rican people. While letting people know “Together We Are America”
