$125.00

In Stock & Ready to Ship - The purchase of this item directly supports CJ Monét - If you have a question text us at (833) 676-4850.

Apart of our collab with CJ Monét for her debut studio album, “Confessions of a People Pleaser,” out now on all streaming platforms. This is hoodie in which derives inspiration from track 7 titled “Lidocaine.” We personally had these dyed in LA to be the color they are. The back of the hoodie reads “it’s ok not to be ok.” The colors of that references the stained glass windows from inside of a church. Which is a call back to CJ’s album that bridges a relationship between the church and her own life experiences. On the front is the powerful lyrics to the song as well as a Lidocaine bottle that has white roses and forget-me-not flowers inside of it. Lidocaine itself is a numbing agent in which CJ references in her song in reference to being numb while going through things in life, telling yourself that your ok when your not. The flowers themselves being symbolic to the loss of someone close to you. In this case, CJ has dedicated this song to her brother and sister-in-law who lost their daughter.

  • Custom dyed in LA

  • Printing over zippers and ribbing

  • Hood print that reads “The People Are Never Pleased”

  • Heavyweight, slightly oversized fit, size down for a tighter fit

  • 16oz 100% Cotton

  • Draw string included incase you’d like to use it
